- Your projects and files are visible only to you and to us.

Who we are
TruView is a 3D scanning and floor-planning business. We scan buildings and make 360 virtual walkthroughs, floor plans, and CAD and Revit files, then deliver them to clients through a private portal. This policy covers our website at truviewscan.com, our client portal, and the TruView Android app.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote
Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the address or city of the building, and your message.
When you are a client
Your name and email address, the login you use for the portal, and the projects we deliver to you. That includes project names, building addresses, links to 360 virtual walkthroughs, floor plans, and files.
When we scan
We capture 3D scans and 360-degree photos of the buildings you ask us to scan. These can show the inside of a property, including anything left in view. We scan only with the permission of the owner or the person in charge of the building.
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. The website has no advertising or analytics trackers. It loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google can see your IP address when a page loads.
How we use it
- To answer your quote request and plan the visit.
- To scan, prepare, and deliver your files.
- To give you secure access to your projects in the portal and the app.
- To contact you about your projects, billing, and support.
- To keep the records we need for our business and for legal reasons.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell it or rent it to anyone.
Who helps us run TruView
We use a few trusted services. Each one handles information only to provide its service to us.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or safety.
Your 360 virtual walkthroughs
We do not send out walkthrough links. You open your walkthroughs from your private client portal, and they are hosted by a third-party hosting service. If you copy a walkthrough link and pass it on, anyone who has that link may be able to open it, so share it only with people who should see the space.
The Android app
The TruView app opens your client portal on your phone. It uses the same information as the portal, such as your email and your login. We do not use the app for advertising or tracking.
How long we keep information
We keep project records and files for as long as we work with you, and afterward for a reasonable time so you can return to your walkthroughs and files. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Keeping information safe
The website and the portal use HTTPS, so information is encrypted as it travels. Our providers use their own security measures. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@truviewscan.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Delete your account and data
To delete your portal account and the information tied to it, email info@truviewscan.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm by email and delete your account and project information within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
Children
Our services are for businesses and property owners. They are not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
